Sunday is our favorite day at UCC. We see all our friends, meet new ones, sing, laugh, and leave challenged to be better people and better Christ followers.
Below you will find some helpful information on what to expect when you arrive at a service. We want your visit to feel as comfortable as possible, so be sure to contact us if you should have any questions; you can also ask our hospitality team on the day you arrive.

WEEKEND SERVICES
Our Sunday gathering is designed to be culturally relevant, accessible to those just exploring faith and those digging deeper, filled with practical and applicable biblical teaching, and creative in using art to demonstrate the beauty of God’s truth. You might hear the band play Lynyrd Skynyrd or Imagine Dragons. You’ll probably hear the auditorium filled with voices as we sing aloud to our Creator. Your kids will have a blast and suddenly Sunday is your new favorite day of the week too.
Here are just a few details to help you prepare for visiting Uwharrie Community Church.
PARKING
As you approach the parking lot, you will be greeted by one of our friendly parking team members who will then help you find a great parking spot. This team helps to ensure a timely and efficient traffic flow before and after service.
ARRIVING
Next, you will meet one of our hospitality team members. This team is here to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and offer directions to any of our children’s ministries, student ministries or anything else you need.
SERVICE LENGTH
Our Sunday Gatherings typically last about an hour and fifteen minutes. We recommend arriving a little early if you need to register and check-in your kids.
DRESS COMFORTABLE
Come as you are……really. Shirt and shoes are required, we’re not animals. But you do get bonus points for hipster beards.
